Responding to COVID-19 | Donate vital medical supplies
Our community is showing an outpouring of support with donations of vital medical supplies. Read on for the kinds of supplies we need and how to donate.
Donate Medical Supplies
Thank you for considering the gift of vital medical supplies to bolster our response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As we work to vaccinate our community health partners, and eventually every member of our community, we need more vaccination supplies.
With updated guidance from the FDA, we can now retrieve six doses from the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine vials. However, the vaccination kits provided to us don’t have enough needles and syringes to accommodate the additional dose.
The pandemic continues to strain the global supply chain, and high demand is making it difficult for us to secure these additional needles and syringes for vaccinations. We need your help. If you are a healthcare partner in our community (e.g., dentist), please assess your needle and syringe supply and consider donating any available resources so we can provide the maximum number of COVID-19 vaccines and limit potential vaccine waste. We need the following vaccination supplies:
- Syringe: 1mL or 3mL
- Safety Needle: Gauge 25 to 22
- Safety Needle: Length 1 in. or 1.5 in.
We are also accepting donations of the following types of masks*:
- N95 respirators (3M 1860 only)
- Surgical masks
- Procedure masks
- Isolation masks
We are unable to accept handmade masks and are no longer accepting face shields or 3D masks.
All donations must be in original containers, unexpired, unopened, undamaged, and unused. Queries should be directed to [email protected].
