As a nonprofit organization, Swedish relies heavily on community partnerships and the support of those who believe in our nonprofit mission of providing the very best care to every person we serve — regardless of their ability to pay. A crucial part of serving our mission is Swedish's charity care program. We are committed to providing charity care to all who need it.
Swedish's Charity Care Program offers free or discounted hospital services for those who cannot afford care, many of whom are underinsured of have no insurance at all. Provides financial assistance in cases where the yearly family income is between 0% and 350% of the federal poverty level. Ensures that financial constraints are not a barrier to the provision of care.
If you are interested in applying for Charity Care, please call 206-386-6996. Visit swedish.org for more information about financial assistance or to download an application.
